Hi Reader, I’m going to be a little vulnerable and share a picture of my photo mess - and yes, I have one, too! Although I’ve been teaching people how to organize their photos for over 20 years, I haven’t yet completed my own project. These boxes are filled with photo memories from my Dad’s house, from my house, and from my old church that closed (the albums on the far side). There are also a bunch of keepsakes from my daughter’s childhood that I want to scan as she was a prolific artist and writer from a very young age. And there’s even more in my garage! The cats have decided this is a good place to nap, so we had to cover the top box with a cloth to keep cat detritus from falling into the box. It’s a little embarrassing, yet I want to be totally transparent with you. At least I’ve attempted to gather (most of) it into one place! Anyway, I wanted to tell you that I’m planning something special later this month for people whose photo memory collections look like this - or worse! And I wanted to share two articles I recently ran across in my preparation. I think any family photo keeper will enjoy them. What I really hope, though, is that they make you think. And, if they do, I hope you will write down your thoughts. They could come in handy later. 6 questions to ask yourself around your family photographs Some questions to ask yourself about your family photographs. The first article inspired the writing of the second article and they don’t have the same questions, so don’t just read one thinking you’ve covered all the bases. They both suggest very good questions that are important to answer when you are ready to start your photo organizing journey. And the reason to write down your answers is that they will help keep you motivated during what is likely to be a multi-year project. And, if you’re ready to take the next step, be sure to check out The Family Photo Keeper’s Planning Power Pack. Warmly, Fancy How I Can Help You

Hi Reader, One of my favorite quotes of all time is “Life is what happens when you’re busy planning something else.” I believe this came from an Ashleigh Brilliant book I had in the 70s. It WILL be ready in a couple weeks (or I’ll die trying). But it’s not ready today. Instead, I decided to have a flash sale on The Family Photo Keeper’s Planning...
